If applicable, the report may also contain interpretation and fertilizer recommendations if enough background information was given on the submission forms (soil names, previous crops grown, future crops, etc.). This report is now available in an electronic format which contains the following files: ------------------------------ SOILRPT.PDF ------------------------------ This is a PDF file which contains the report(s). If you submitted more than one sample then the PDF file will contain multiple reports. Each report will contain fertilizer recommendations, if applicable. In order to view this PDF file, you need the free Adobe Reader program. Most computers already have this installed, but if you don’t, you can download and install it from http://www.adobe.com. ------------------------------ SOILRPT.XLS ------------------------------ A Microsoft Excel file which contains the laboratory results of the standard soil fertility test. In order to view this file, you need to have Microsoft Excel installed (almost any version will do). Excel is part of the Microsoft Office suite. If you do not have Excel installed, you can download the free Excel Viewer from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=C8378BF4- 996C-4569-B547-75EDBD03AAF0&displaylang=en). If you use the Excel Viewer, you will not be able to make any changes to any Excel files that are opened with it. Note: the data included in this file contains only the laboratory results; this data is also reported in the SOILRPT.PDF file.
