Order Form

If you are a commercial farmer or home gardener, use our Order Form to order a Standard Soil Fertility Test Kit. The price of the kit includes the price of the basic soil analysis (CNAL code 1030). When you receive your kit, take your soil sample exactly as described in the Standard Soil Fertility Test Kit Instructions. Send the sample to us at:

along with the appropriate sample submission form. You do not need to send any additional money at this time, unless you are ordering other soil tests in addition to the basic analysis. If ordering the PSNT test, use the same order form, but submit your sample with the PSNT submission form

Turnaround time

Samples for routine analysis are normally analyzed and reported within 4-5 working days after they are received. Copies are sent to the grower, commercial representative (if applicable) and the NYS County Cooperative Extension. Results are usually returned via U.S. Mail, but can be returned by fax or email. Turnaround may be delayed if a proper submittal form is not used, inadequate sample amount is enclosed, or if we did not receive appropriate payment.

Confidentiality

Results of all test work, experimental data, and reports are available only to the client, his/her commercial representative, and the Cornell Cooperative Extension unless released to a third party by client's written notification.

Storage of samples

Analytical results are stored in computer files for approximately five years. Samples are stored for a minimum of two weeks prior to disposal, unless special arrangements are made.
